It is an Italian pasta sauce that is made out of tomatoes, garlic and dried red chili peppers cooked in olive oil. Arrabiata sauce is referred to as the spiciest sauce from its name as this means angry in Italian. This sauce has its origin in the Lazio region.
Arrabiata Sauce Pasta
This is a spicy recipe because of the Arrabiata sauce present in it. It depends on the taste and preferences of your family members.
Ingredients of the recipe:-
Four teaspoons of chopped garlic (up to 5 cloves).
One by four cup of olive oil.
Twenty-eight grams of little pieces of tomatoes.
Twenty-nine grams of normal tomatoes.
Two teaspoons pepper flakes (crushed)
One teaspoon of sugar.
One and a half teaspoon oregano (dried)
One by four teaspoon of salt.
One teaspoon lemon juice.
448 grams of box penne pasta.
One and a half cup of fresh Parmigiano cheese.
One by four cup of thin-sliced fresh basil.
Garnishers:- cheese shavings of Parmigiano cheese, fresh basil sprigs.
Step 1:- Take a hot oil in a 6- quart saucepan and saute the garlic over medium heat for one minute. Now add the little pieces of tomatoes and the normal tomatoes. Boil them after reducing the flame to low. Use red pepper flakes to stir them and the next four components, cook, and keep on stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
Step 2:- Follow the package instructions and prepare the pasta. Dip these in one and a half cup of cooking liquid. Now put the pasta back in cooking liquid to the Dutch oven and sprinkle the cheese.
Step 3:- Take the tomato sauce and stir the basil in it. Now pour the three cups sauce over the pasta. Now in order to put the coat toss it. Serve the pasta with left sauce and garnish if you want to.
Step 4:- The cheese part can be skipped and the dish is ready to serve.
Arrabiata Sauce Pizza
This is another angry and spicy recipe prepared with the help of Arrabiata sauce. This has a pizza base and is very much tasty and delicious.
Ingredients of the recipe:-
Three hundred thirty-nine grams of refrigerated pizza dough.
Cooking spray for the recipe.
Fifty-six grams of chopped pancetta
One tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Two by three cups of chopped onion.
One and a half teaspoons red pepper (crushed)
Four cloves of garlic, sliced very thinly.
Three hundred ninety-two grams of unsalted normal chopped tomatoes.
Two tablespoons fresh oregano (chopped)
One by eight teaspoons of salt.
One tablespoon of cornmeal.
Eighty-four grams of mozzarella cheese spread along with three by four cup.
Oregano leaves (these are optional).
Step 1:- Pizza stone to be placed in an oven. Get the oven heated by 500°c.
Step 2:- It’s time to place the pizza dough on medium flame by spraying the cooking spray. Now cover the microwave at a medium of (50% Power) for around 45 seconds. Let it stay for five minutes.
Step 3:- Now you need to heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add pancetta and cook
Step 4:- Now cook the oil and put the chopped pieces of onion, pepper and garlic and cook for four minutes. Continue to stir it occasionally and now add the tomatoes. Now cook for one minute.
Step 5:- Lastly roll the dough into fourteen inches on the surface. Now carefully remove the pizza stone from the oven. Now sprinkle the stone with the cornmeal. Tomato mixture needs to be spread over the dough after leaving a one and a half inch border. Lastly sprinkle it with cheese and bake it again at 500 for 10 minutes. Bake it till the crust turns brown and gets cooked and then garnish it with oregano. Now it’s ready to serve.
