Spicy Chicken Wings With Hot Sauce
The sauce is a Korean recipe and is very famous. It has a twist of both sweet and fiery taste.
Ingredients required to prepare chicken wings
Six pounds of chicken wings
One-fourth cup of canola oil
Two tablespoons of Korean chili powder
Two tablespoons of sugar
One tablespoon of sesame oil toasted
One-third cup of chili paste
One tablespoon of water
Two teaspoons of soy sauce
Two teaspoons of rice vinegar
Sesame seeds and scallions
Directions To Make Spicy Chicken Wings
The first and foremost step is to wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and with cold water. Drain the water and soak the water using paper towels. Then, heat the oven up to 450 degrees. Thereafter, take two baking sheets and coat it with cooking spray or butter.
Take a large bowl, and mix the chicken pieces with canola oil and add pepper and salt. Keeping the skin on the upper side of the baking tray and roast it in the oven for about fi=orty five minutes.
Take another bowl and mix the remaining ingredients required and add a little pepper powder. Finally, add the crispy wings to the hot chili sauce. mix the chickens to coat. Add the scallions and sesame seeds to the chickens. Now, you can serve it hot.
Sriracha Chicken Wings Recipe
Four cloves of minced garlic
One tablespoon of virgin olive oil
One cup of tomato sauce
One tablespoon of soy sauce
Half cup of sriracha sauce
Two tablespoons of brown sugar
Two pounds of chicken wings
Black pepper powder
Cilantro finely chopped
Step By Step Preparation Method
Take a large saucepan and over medium heat, add the olive oil and fry the garlic. After two minutes, add the mixture of sauces, once the garlic turns golden brown.
The mixture of sauces contains soy sauce, tomato sauce, sriracha and pinches of brown sugar to taste. Turn the heat to low and stir the sauce for five minutes. It will gradually become thick. Thereafter set it aside.
Wash the chicken pieces in cold water and dry them. Then, add black pepper and salt as seasonings to the chicken. Cover the chicken with flour and set it aside.
Take a large skillet or a deep frying pan and heat the oil. Then, fry the chicken wings for ten minutes until each one of them turns golden in color. Remove the extra oil from the chicken pieces with the help of tissue paper.
Finally, add the chicken wings with the sauce that you have prepared earlier and mix it well. Finally, add some cilantro and lime juice to garnish. You can serve them hot for better taste.
